The ARPIONA variety is a local apple variety originating from the province of Arezzo. It is not the result of modern targeted breeding and is preserved within the framework of programs for maintaining agrobiological diversity.
The fruits of the variety are intended for fresh consumption and can also be used for making juices and jams. The variety has undergone a series of chemical-physical and sensory analyses as part of research into old fruit crop species.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
