The tree features a pyramidal or Christmas tree-shaped crown and reaches about 3 meters in height when grown on dwarfing rootstocks. The variety is a hybrid obtained from crossing the Cox’s Orange Pippin and Delgollune varieties. The crop is characterized by good resistance to major apple diseases.

The fruits are conical, sometimes slightly flattened in shape, and have smooth, shiny yellow skin with a bright red blush covering 80% of the surface. The flesh is cream or yellowish, juicy, and crisp. The fruits store well in a refrigerator.

The variety is diploid and self-sterile, therefore it requires the presence of pollinators for fruit set. Currently, the variety is primarily used in amateur gardening.
