The fruits are round in shape, have a yellow-green skin covered with a carmine-red blush, and are distinguished by the presence of a waxy bloom. The flesh is white, pinkish under the skin, and juicy. The harvest ripens in late July — early August.
The variety is prone to biennial bearing and early flowering; the tree is a good pollinator for other varieties. The plant is highly susceptible to scab, while possessing good resistance to low temperatures.
Due to low transportability and the fruits' tendency to quickly become mealy, the variety is not intended for commercial production and is recommended for home gardening. Currently, the variety is found primarily in private collections.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
