The variety is a product of the Fruit Research Institute in Čačak (former Yugoslavia). Starking Delicious and Jonathan are indicated as parent forms; some materials mention a combination of Jonathan and Golden Delicious.
The fruits are of a market type, have an attractive appearance, dense crunchy white flesh, and a weight of 225–250 g. The variety is intended for commercial production and fresh consumption.
The plant possesses high resistance to major fungal diseases, in particular to scab, and is considered promising for commercial horticulture.
