The variety originated as a chance seedling in the second half of the 18th century in the Kutná Hora region. The tree forms a wide crown, requires a planting distance of 4–5 meters, and is characterized by late entry into fruiting, sometimes in the 9th year of life. Yield is moderate and regular.

Fruits of medium size ripen in early August. They possess delicate skin and a specific aroma, and retain consumer qualities for 2–3 weeks after harvesting. Currently, the variety is considered rare and is preserved as part of the genetic pool.
