The tree forms a spreading, often spherical crown with drooping shoots prone to bareness. The fruits are medium to large in size, round, with a characteristic bluish waxy bloom and an intense blush.

The fruit flesh is white, juicy, aromatic, and does not brown after cutting. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, but shows high susceptibility to scab and powdery mildew, which requires protective measures.

The variety is a dessert type, but is also suitable for processing.
