The tree has moderate vigor and a spreading crown with small leaves. Fruits are large, conical in shape, with pronounced ribbing and a five-pointed crown at the calyx. The skin is yellow-green with a red blush and characteristic russeting.

The variety is a late winter type; the harvest takes place in October, with consumer maturity reached by December and lasting until March. Fruiting occurs primarily on the tips of the branches, which requires special pruning. The variety is diploid, self-sterile, and sensitive to scab, canker, and rust.
