The Corchu variety is a technical cider apple tree with a late maturity group, falling in the second ten-day period of November, and very late flowering. The tree is characterized by weak to medium vigor. The variety is highly productive, with a yield of more than 30 tons per hectare.

The fruits belong to the technological group of bitter-acid apples with acidity indicators of 4.67 g/l and a phenol content of 1.77 g/l. The variety is characterized by low sensitivity to fungal diseases, but shows high susceptibility to European canker in shoot tests.
