The Coop 4 variety, also known as Priscilla, was created to introduce the scab resistance gene (Vf) into apple breeding. In agronomic publications, it is most often mentioned as valuable genetic material and a parental form for the creation of other resistant varieties.
The main characteristic of this variety is its resistance to diseases. Publications do not contain detailed descriptions of fruit commercial and taste qualities or tree growth parameters, as the variety is primarily used for scientific breeding purposes.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
