The variety was obtained within the framework of the PRI program using the Vf gene, which provides immunity to apple scab. The tree has moderate to high vigor with a spreading crown and a rounded top, bearing fruit annually mainly on spurs. The variety shows high resistance to rust and fire blight, and moderate resistance to powdery mildew.

Fruits are large, round or slightly elongated, covered with a glossy dark red blush. The flesh is firm, crisp, and fine-grained. The taste is moderately acidic after harvest, becoming balanced and acquiring a spicy note after storage. The fruits are suitable for long-term storage for up to 6 months without susceptibility to physiological disorders.
