The variety is a landrace common in the regions of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. The name of the variety translates from Catalan as "ice heart" due to the unique structure of the fruit flesh.

The fruits have good sizing and a yellowish color with a pinkish tint on the sunny side, while russeting may be observed in the peduncle and calyx areas. The flavor of the fruits is sweet, and the flesh is distinguished by its firmness and juiciness.

Currently, the variety is not a subject of commercial breeding and is considered a valuable genetic resource. It is included in biodiversity conservation programs, and detailed agronomic data for it are at the stage of scientific description.
