The tree grows moderately vigorously, reaching a height of 3–5 meters depending on the rootstock. The crown is large, spherical, with characteristic weeping shoots, prone to bareness, which requires formative and rejuvenating pruning.

The fruits are medium to large in size, spherical-barrel-shaped, slightly flattened at the base. The skin is smooth, greenish-yellow, covered with an intense red or dark carmine blush. The flesh is white with greenish veins, fine-grained, crisp, juicy, with a sweet-sour taste.

The variety is autumn-winter, harvest maturity occurs in late September — early October, storage life in a refrigerator is up to February. It possesses high winter hardiness, but is susceptible to powdery mildew and scab. The variety is a diploid and a good pollinator for other apple trees.
