The Tres en Cunca tree is characterized by vigorous growth and an upright crown shape. The fruit ripening period falls in the second half of September.

The fruits are large, oblate-round in shape, and have a yellow color with a pale diffuse blush. The flesh is white, of intermediate density and texture. The skin is soft, with a waxy bloom, and is weakly susceptible to the formation of russeting.

The variety is autochthonous to the Galicia region (Spain). Currently, it is preserved in germplasm banks for breeding research and maintenance of biodiversity, and is also used in in vitro micropropagation experiments.
