The variety is a local landrace product included in the inventory of traditional varieties of the Alta-Ribagorça region within the framework of biodiversity conservation projects. It does not have an official breeding description as it was not developed through specialized programs.
The fruits of this variety are characterized by red and green color with stripes and good taste qualities. The variety belongs to late-maturing or winter types: harvesting usually occurs in September, while the fruits possess the ability to be stored throughout the winter.
