The De Gori variety is mentioned in catalogs of traditional fruit trees of Catalonia. In a number of sources, it is identified with the Belle Fleur Jaune variety, also known by the local name Blanca del Correu.

The fruits are characterized by large size and a slightly elongated shape. The skin is dark yellow with a red blush on the side exposed to the sun. The flesh is fine, juicy and crisp, with a sweet taste with a slight acidity and a pleasant aroma.

The variety is suitable for fresh consumption and culinary processing, characterized by good keeping quality. Official data on breeding characteristics are absent, as the variety is considered a local landrace.
