The Das Velhas tree is characterized by vigorous growth and medium productivity. The fruit ripening period occurs early or in the mid-season.

The fruits have an oblate-globose shape. The skin is whitish-green with striped red patches and large lenticels. The flesh has a greenish hue, is juicy, of medium texture, with a sugar content of about 12.8° Brix.
