DURELLO is a group of autochthonous Italian varieties (biotypes) distributed in Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, and Lombardy. The trees are characterized by medium vigor and are late-maturing: the fruits ripen in mid to late October.

The fruits are of medium size with a green-yellow skin. Firm, juicy flesh with a sweet-and-sour taste makes them suitable for both fresh consumption and culinary use. Historically, they are valued for their ability to be stored for a very long time during the winter period.

These forms are considered "rustic" and hardy plants. Individual representatives of the group, such as Durello di Forlì, have been studied for resistance to scab and the presence of valuable genes for breeding.
