The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and a spreading crown, reaching a height of 4–6 meters on vigorous rootstocks. The variety is considered resilient and suitable for organic cultivation, possessing good winter hardiness.
The fruits are small or medium in size, round or ovate in shape. The flesh is light, juicy, and the taste is sweet with a slight acidity and aroma. The consumption period lasts from November to April; the fruits retain their firmness until spring.
The variety is not self-fertile and requires the presence of pollinators for fruiting, such as Aroma, Ingrid Marie, Cox Orange, Filippa, or James Grieve. It is traditionally used as a dessert variety and a decorative "Christmas apple".
