Trees are vigorous, reaching a height of 4.0–4.5 meters. The variety is characterized by moderate resistance to scab and low or below-average resistance to powdery mildew. There are many clones of the variety that differ in the intensity of fruit coloration.

Harvest maturity of the fruits occurs at the end of September. Apples are large, weighing 160–170 grams or more, with dense, juicy yellow flesh and a sweet-and-sour taste. The variety possesses high transportability and is intended primarily for fresh consumption; the fruits store until April.
