The variety belongs to summer ones; fruits ripen in August. The fruits have a round-conical shape, are colored yellow-green and reach a weight of 140–180 g. In terms of its texture, the fruit flesh is firmer than that of the Lodi variety.

Early Gold apples are considered universal and are used for fresh consumption, and are also suitable for baking and making sauces. The variety is sometimes compared to a summer 'Golden Delicious'.
