The tree has an upright spreading growth habit. Fruits are small to medium in size, oblate or broadly round-conical in shape. The skin is covered with a smooth golden or fawn russet over an orange or yellow-green background. Flesh is cream-colored, fine-grained, juicy, and crisp.

The variety ripens in September and shows good resistance to scab, canker, and powdery mildew. Trees are productive and partially self-fertile, prone to overcropping, which makes thinning recommended. Fruits are delicate, easily damaged, and have a short shelf life. Used primarily fresh, as well as for juices and cider.
