The tree is vigorous with a tall, broad crown, traditionally grown as a high-stemmed tree. The variety is not self-fertile and requires a pollinator tree. Sensitivity to scab and canker is possible, requiring planting in areas with good aeration.

Fruits are large or very large, conical in shape, with smooth, thin skin. The ground color is yellow-green with a reddish striped blush and possible russeting. The flesh is yellowish-white, firm and juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste that improves during storage until March-April.

The variety is intended for universal use: fresh consumption, baking, and the preparation of purees and juices. In pomological literature, there is confusion between various representatives of the Bellefleur group, so characteristics may vary depending on the nursery.
