The tree is medium-sized, 3–5 meters in height depending on the rootstock. The crown of young plants is conical, becoming broadly rounded or drooping under the weight of the crop with age. The variety is demanding of growing conditions and is sensitive to severe frosts and drought.

Fruits are medium to large in size, weighing 120–220 g, and are round-conical in shape. The taste is dessert-like, sweet with slight acidity and a distinct aroma. The variety is characterized by good fruit keeping quality until April-May, although it is prone to skin russeting and shriveling under low humidity.

The fruit use is universal: fresh consumption, production of puree and jam, and use in culinary applications. The variety is widely used in breeding as valuable genetic material.
