The tree or large multi-stemmed shrub has a spreading rounded crown with a diameter of 3–5 meters. Leaves are bright green in summer, turning yellow or red shades in autumn. During the flowering period in April-May, the tree is covered with fragrant solitary flowers with white or light pink petals.

Small round fruits with a diameter of 2–3 cm have a bright yellow color, sometimes with an orange blush, and remain on the branches for a long time. The fruits are edible after culinary processing, but have an astringent taste when raw. The variety is winter hardy, relatively resistant to scab, and suitable for use as a pollinator.
