The variety is a spontaneous somatic mutant of the Golden Delicious variety. The trees are of the spur type, possess a compact, dense, broad-pyramidal crown, and reach a height of 2–4 meters. Fruiting is concentrated on shortened fruiting twigs (spurs). The variety is precocious, yields are high and regular, and fruiting begins in the 3rd–4th year.

Fruits are medium to large, weighing 80–180 g, round-conical or oblong ribbed in shape. Skin color at maturity is golden-yellow, sometimes with a slight blush. The flesh is firm, juicy, aromatic, cream-colored, with a sweet or sweet-and-sour taste. Ripening occurs one week earlier than that of the original variety.

The variety has medium winter hardiness, is susceptible to scab, and is moderately resistant to powdery mildew. Fruits are noted for good keeping quality and transportability, suitable for fresh consumption and industrial processing.
