The columnar apple tree is characterized by a narrow vertical crown about 60 cm wide and up to 2.4–3 meters high. The fruits are full-sized, golden-green in color with firm crunchy flesh, and ripen in mid-September. The variety has resistance to scab and powdery mildew.

The plant is not self-fertile and requires the presence of a pollinator variety that blooms during the same period. The crop is suitable for growing in containers, on patios, and as hedges.
