The tree is vigorous at a young age and forms a wide, rounded, regular canopy suitable for trellis cultivation. The variety enters bearing early, produces abundant yields, but is prone to alternate bearing, for which fruit thinning is recommended. The plant is relatively resistant to scab and powdery mildew when placed in sunny areas.

The fruits are large, flattened, bluntly ribbed, with smooth oily skin of golden-yellow color with a brownish-red blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, aromatic, with a high content of vitamin C. Harvesting takes place in October, consumer maturity occurs in November; with proper storage, the fruits maintain quality until February or March.
