Variety description

The variety is a natural bud mutation of the Braeburn variety. The fruit have a medium size of 75 to 85 mm and differ from the original variety by a more intense, uniform red coloration, often without stripes. The flesh is firm, crisp, with a characteristic sweet-sour taste and aroma typical for the Braeburn group.

The variety belongs to the late-winter category, with harvest usually occurring from the end of September to early October. It is noted that ripening may occur two weeks earlier than that of the standard Braeburn variety. The fruit are suitable for long-term storage and are used fresh, as well as in culinary applications.
