The tree is vigorous with a rounded crown that becomes drooping with age. The variety is considered healthy and hardy, requiring regular thinning of the crown. Late flowering provides protection against spring frosts.

Fruit is medium-sized, oblate-rounded in shape with a ribbed surface. The ground color of the skin is whitish-yellow, the overcolor is bright red with a marbled pattern or dark stripes, often with a glaucous bloom. The flesh is light yellow, juicy, firm, sometimes with reddish veins.

The variety is a winter type, harvesting begins at the end of September, and the consumption period lasts from October to February. The fruit is used fresh, for the preparation of juices, musts, and compotes, as well as for decorative purposes.
