The tree is vigorous with a spreading, broadly pyramidal crown and strong, curved branches. The variety is a triploid, requiring the presence of pollinator varieties. The trees are characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to diseases such as scab and fire blight.
The fruits are large, reaching 200 g, and have a flat or round-conical, often asymmetrical and ribbed shape. The skin is greenish-yellow, sometimes with a blush, waxy bloom, or russeting in the stalk area. The yellowish flesh is firm, juicy, and coarse-grained, with a sweet-sour taste and astringency.
Harvest maturity occurs in early September. The fruits hold firmly on the tree and, under proper storage conditions, can keep until January. Due to its specific taste qualities, the variety is rarely consumed fresh; its main purpose is culinary processing, including baking and the preparation of purées.
