The variety was bred at the Institute of Horticulture in Dobele and is known under the breeding number 19-97-80. It is genetically related to the variety «Remo». The tree is characterized as very low-growing and compact, which makes it suitable for private and organic orchards, but not for industrial scales.

The fruits have a round or elongated-conical shape with noticeable ribbing. The fruit skin is thick, medium-oily, with a bloom. Harvest time falls in the middle or second half of September, the storage period is 1–2 months.

The variety possesses high resistance to diseases, in particular, it has the scab resistance gene Rvi6. In terms of its productivity and adaptability to organic cultivation, the variety surpasses the variety «Trebū».
