The variety is a mutant of the apple cultivar Ligol and belongs to the spur type, which determines its morphological features: a more compact crown and shortened internodes compared to the original variety. Trees possess high yield and good resistance to mechanical stress, however, they require fruit thinning.

The winter maturity group implies harvesting at the end of September to early October with consumer maturity reached in late January. Fruits are large, weighing from 250 to 400 g (sometimes up to 500 g), round-conical in shape with pronounced ribbing. The firm skin is covered with an intense carmine blush; the flesh is firm, juicy, crisp, and has a sweet-and-sour taste.

The variety is characterized by good winter hardiness and acceptable resistance to scab and powdery mildew. Under improper storage conditions, the fruits are susceptible to bitter pit.
