The name NARANZINS 1 is recorded in Italian studies as a local synonym for the variety «Dal Dolç». It has been established that this variety is identical to the variety «Cox Orange Pippin».

The fruits are used for fresh consumption and culinary purposes. They are distinguished by a pleasant sweet-sour taste and crisp flesh. The start of the harvest falls in the second ten-day period of September, and consumer maturity occurs in the third ten-day period of September.
