The variety is classified as a summer or early apple; fruits ripen in the period from August to September. The fruits are medium to large in size, with a yellow-green ground color and a pink-red blush covering up to half of the surface. The flesh is juicy, the fruits have a high sugar content and good taste qualities, while remaining firmly attached to the branches.

The plant has good resistance to scab. For increasing yield, bending of the branches is recommended. The fruits are intended for table consumption; the variety is also used in blends for cider production together with other varieties, for example, Discovery.
