The variety is an old Russian one and was first described in 1848. The tree reaches a height of 3–5 meters. The crown of the young plant is broad-pyramidal, becoming rounded and spreading with age. The variety is self-sterile and requires the presence of pollinators such as Antonovka obyknovennaya, Konfetnoye, or Grushovka moskovskaya.
Fruits ripen in late July – first half of August; their mass is 90–130 g. The skin is thin, greenish-white, becoming transparent upon ripening. The flesh is white, loose, sweet-sour with a honey aroma. Due to the delicate consistency, the fruits do not tolerate transportation well and have a short shelf life.
