The fruits have a blunt conical shape, often irregularly ribbed, with an average weight of 140–220 g. The ground color of the skin is greenish, turning dark yellow, with red speckles and stripes over most of the surface. The flesh is yellow, crisp, juicy, and aromatic.

The plant grows moderately at a young age, and weakly later on. It bears fruit abundantly, but often irregularly; the onset of fruiting is rather late. The variety has high frost resistance of wood and flowers, but is sensitive to scab and canker. It is demanding in terms of soil conditions and prefers moderate humidity.

Harvesting is carried out at the end of September; consumption maturity occurs in October. The fruits are prone to rapid over-ripening with loss of flesh structure. The variety is best suited for training as a half-standard or quarter-standard tree.
