The fruits of this variety are medium or medium-large in size, characterized by a round, strongly flattened, and asymmetrical shape. The skin is yellow-green in color with a diffuse bright red blush. The stalk is of medium length, attached in a deep, wide cavity; the calyx is semi-open and located in a depression of medium depth.

The flesh of the fruit is white, aromatic, with a slightly acidic taste and low density. The variety belongs to late-maturing ones; harvesting takes place in October. The fruits are distinguished by good keeping quality, remaining stored until spring, and are intended for direct consumption.

The variety has been known in Italy for centuries as part of the «Panaia» group. Currently, it is significant as an object of agrobiodiversity conservation and is grown in farm holdings and specialized collections.
