The tree is of medium height with high winter hardiness. The variety is characterized by an early fruit ripening period; fruits ripen in July-August and are prone to dropping quickly upon reaching maturity.

Fruits of medium size have thin, delicate skin of pale green or light yellow color. The flesh is white, loose, very juicy, and has a sweet-and-sour taste. Due to their delicate consistency, the fruits transport poorly, overripen quickly, and require immediate consumption or processing.

The variety is relatively resistant to scab, however, it has a very high susceptibility to fire blight and fungal diseases of the bark.
