Malus domestica (Suckow) Borkh. Apple · Fruit crops · bred by SEMPRA PRAHA A S

Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is classified as late-winter. The fruits have a mass of 180–200 g, a round-cylindrical shape, yellow color with a blush, dense granular flesh with a sweet-and-sour taste and a nutty aroma, and possess good keeping quality.

The tree is characterized by vigorous growth, the degree of which varies depending on the rootstock used. The main distinctive characteristic of this group of varieties is genetic resistance to fungal diseases, in particular to apple scab.

The name Resista is not a unique designation for a single variety, but denotes a series of breeding achievements aimed at disease resistance. In different regions, different genetic forms may be sold under this brand, which require clarification in strict botanical classification.
