The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and pronounced alternate bearing. The variety is a triploid, which makes it a poor pollinator for other varieties. The fruit is ovoid or cylindrical in shape, with size ranging from small to very large depending on the crop load.
The skin changes from green to whitish-greenish-yellow with red stripes upon ripening. Harvesting takes place in the second half or at the end of October. The fruit is suitable for consumption from January to June. The flesh is acidic and becomes softer in the spring; however, the primary use of the fruit is processing into juice, cider, or compotes.
