Apple variety ROSA DI CALDARO is a traditional variety originating in Northern Italy. The tree is vigorous, with a spreading crown, and is noted for its hardiness and tendency toward biennial bearing. Harvest takes place in October; fruits retain their quality until March when stored properly.

Fruits are medium-sized, round-flattened in shape, often with pronounced ribbing. The skin is smooth, shiny, yellowish in color with a pink or red-orange blush. The flesh is white, fine-grained, juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste and a distinct aroma. The variety shows relative resistance to powdery mildew and scab.
