Trees are described as vigorous, with an upright or drooping growth habit. The variety is mid-late, with the harvest period occurring 2–4 weeks before the Golden Delicious variety. The variety is characterized by alternate bearing and a tendency for pre-harvest fruit drop.

Fruits have a broadly conical or truncate-conical shape; their basic yellow-green skin color is complemented by a red blush. The flesh is white, crisp, and juicy. The tree exhibits resistance to fungal diseases but is susceptible to codling moth infestation.
