The variety is local and widely distributed in the Marche and Tuscany regions. It is often associated with the synonym Rosa Marchigiana and is viewed in the context of preserving the genetic biodiversity of local agricultural crops.

The fruits of this variety are characterized by a conical shape and a low degree of skin russeting. After storage, a pronounced waxy bloom forms on the skin. Flesh firmness at harvest is approximately 4.24 kg/cm². The variety is susceptible to subcutaneous spotting during storage.
