The tree has medium vigor and a wide crown formed by very long branches. The variety is characterized by high cold resistance, with frost contributing to an increase in the sugar concentration in the fruit. Bearing occurs annually with possible minor periodicity.

Fruits are medium-sized, round-oblong in shape, yellow in color with a partial orange blush on the sunny side. The flesh is whitish, non-juicy, and sweet in taste. The harvest ripens late, in late October or early November, and is used primarily for culinary purposes and drying.
