The variety is a seedling discovered in the garden of Henrik Jensen in Svindinge-Mark. In 1884, the apple tree was exhibited at the Danish Horticultural Society exhibition and is mentioned in some genetic databases under the name Henrik Jensens Æble.
The fruits of the apple tree are medium-sized, reaching 70–77 mm in width and 59–61 mm in height; their shape varies from flat to flat-rounded with a truncated conical part. The tree's annual shoots are of medium thickness, long and geniculate, colored dark brown with numerous lenticels.
The leaves of the variety are ovate with a shortly acuminate apex. The leaf margins are finely serrated, and their underside is smooth.
