The variety originates from the Svindinge area on the island of Funen, Denmark. The fruits have a broadly rounded or truncate-ovate shape, are often asymmetric, with a width of approximately 66 mm and a height of 61–62 mm. The skin is thin, golden-yellow, sometimes with a red blush, and the surface is slightly oily.

The flesh is white, juicy, with a pleasant taste and aroma, and is prone to rapid browning when cut. Fruit ripening occurs in October–November, and the consumption period can begin in September. The variety is traditionally used as a dessert and market apple.

The tree is characterized by high yield and winter hardiness. The variety shows significant resistance to common diseases such as scab, powdery mildew, and apple canker.
