The variety was obtained at the Institute of Experimental Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences by crossing the varieties Rubin and Vanda. The tree is of moderate vigor, forming a dense, rounded crown. The variety possesses genetic resistance to scab and low susceptibility to powdery mildew.

Fruits of medium or large size, weighing 120–200 g, have a flattened-round shape. The ground color is greenish-yellow, the overcolor is a brownish-red or bright red blush with stripes. The flesh is cream-colored, firm, fine-grained, and juicy, possessing a sweet-and-sour taste with notes of spice.

Harvest maturity of the fruits occurs at the end of September or October; consumption is possible after a month of storage. The fruits are distinguished by good keeping quality, retaining their characteristics until March-April.
