Variety description

The tree is vigorous, forming a broad rounded crown. The variety is productive but has a long waiting period for the onset of fruiting after planting. It is an important genetic resource for breeding other Norwegian varieties.

The fruits are oblate-round, slightly asymmetrical, yellow in color with a striped red blush. The flesh is firm and moderately acidic. The harvest is collected at the end of September; the apples are suitable for fresh consumption and processing until February.

Currently, the variety is practically not used in commercial production, being preserved mainly in collection orchards and by enthusiast gardeners.
