The variety was obtained as a result of breeding work in Belgium. The fruits are medium-sized, oblong-conical in shape with slight ribbing. The ground color is yellow-green with an orange-red striped blush over 75% of the surface. The flesh is yellow, juicy and crisp, with a pronounced balance of sugar and acid.

Harvesting takes place approximately two weeks before the Gala variety. The apples retain their firmness and taste qualities when stored in a refrigerator for up to six weeks, according to some data — until January. For stable fruiting, cross-pollination is recommended, for example with the Golden Delicious variety. The variety may be susceptible to bitter pit.
