The apple variety Zuzana belongs to winter varieties. Consumer maturity of the fruits occurs in the spring period, and under proper storage conditions, the harvest retains its quality until March.
The plant possesses a high level of quantitative resistance to scab (Venturia inaequalis). Unlike many other resistant varieties, this variety does not carry monogenic resistance conditioned by the Vf gene and possesses a different genetic nature of protection against the disease.
